A soft cotton khadi stole, finished with sashiko-inspired embroidery motifs.
Worked through repetitive running stitches, the embroidery brings subtle texture and rhythm to the fabric without overwhelming it. Inspired by sashiko’s emphasis on line and repetition, the motifs sit quietly across the surface, allowing the handwork and the khadi to speak together.
The natural texture of khadi gives the stole lightness and movement, making it easy to wear across seasons. Slight variations in weave and stitch are part of the making process, and give each piece its individuality.
Made slowly, in small batches, by artisans in rural Assam.

Care Instructions
To preserve the beauty of the embroidery, gently hand wash in cold water with similar colors. Do not wring. Lay flat and dry in the shade. Warm iron on the reverse side.
