সূতা Xuta +

সূতা Xuta (pronounced as Huta) is the Assamese word for thread and thread forms the foundation of everything we do. The Xuta + collection is perhaps the closest to our hearts. It brings together the spirit it takes to create a work of beauty: many hands coming together.

The pieces in our Xuta + collection celebrate threadwork in its many forms. We integrate embroidery with woven work. We embroider Sindhi motifs on ikat fabrics, we combine embroidery with woven textiles featuring motifs from Northeast India, and create chikan-inspired motifs on cotton fabrics woven in West Bengal and there is more to come.
