A brief note about the piece you see here. The concept was suggested by my adviser from graduate school (University of Michigan), Christian Davenport. When he heard about what we were doing, he found it apt that we embroider women rebelling with flowers as we indeed are women inspired by flowers. The concept was put on paper by Chitra Singh, an artist based in the NCR region. Her presence has been like a lighthouse in life. And the embroidery was done by the team.
