Beyond the trees

If you follow the fireflies

There is a meadow

And that is where you will find me

This tapestry began with that feeling. I used indigo-dyed ajrakh fabric with tree motifs to evoke the density of a forest. The small golden stitches scattered across the surface represent fireflies moving through the dark. At the centre sits a meadow embroidered by our team, filled with flowers and quiet detail.

The piece brings together many things I deeply love and associate with living: cotton, indigo, trees, fireflies, and flowers.
